ALISON CHISHOLM
Alison Chisholm is a poet, with over 500 poems published and broadcast, and several competition awards to her name.
She is a regular contributor to the poetry column in 'Writers' News', and in 1992 she wrote a correspondence course in poetry for The Writers' College in Manchester.

Workshops and readings
As well as readings of her own work, Alison gives talks throughout the country on all aspects of poetry.
She is poetry consultant to BBC Radio Merseyside’s First Heard,
and has led courses at The Writers' Summer School in Derbyshire and The Writers' Holiday in Wales.
She is a regular poetry competition adjudicator.
Alison has run creative writing courses for adults and children in colleges and arts centres.
She has led workshops in a range of venues, including schools. She has been involved with Windows since 1983.
Alison works with pupils in all Key Stages, and can offer INSET for teachers.
