Screenplays:
Small Potatoes - violent disorganised crime. (Cinema Hill wanted to put this into production but couldn’t get funding) Bustin’ Our Balls – comedy. Two hapless Englishmen in New York.
Perfect Shot - tense political thriller. (shortlisted - Oscar Moore competition)
Medium Wave – comedy. 60s pirate radio ship run by the KGB.
Breaking News - serial killer chiller.

Currently working on:
Ricky Trio - Richard the Third as a Mafia don. (optioned by Devolution Digital)
Marguerite Lindsay – Based on the true story of MI6 attempt to rescue the Romanov family from the Bolsheviks.

TV / Stage / Radio:
Testa Rosa – TV drama serial. Commissioned by the Pharaoh Press. ‘Brilliant’, they said, commissioned two more adaptations, and asked him to ghost write the autobiography of 60’s pop star Emile Ford. (pending)
Liars - 50 minute TV drama. (shortlisted - Lynda LaPlante competition)
Wicked - a sitcom.
Being the Man - one hour stageplay. (shortlisted - BBC Northern Exposure comp.)
He was featured in the BBC Ear Candy radio initiative.
Various sketches on satirical radio show The News from 3 Mile Island.
And on the web based Newsbiscuit and newsjack.
Several collaborative radio plays on BBC Radio Merseyside. Most recently three plays by inmates of Walton Prison Liverpool.
And his work has been performed at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool.

Prose:
Two of his novels Ow Ow OwCh Ch Ch have been published:

Poetry:
He has been published in Britain, USA, Australia, Israel, Argentina - in print and on-line. I have been a Featured Poet on the PK Poetry List, and Poet of the Month on the Poetry Super-Highway. My poem ‘If Wordsworth Had a Mobile Phone’ is currently being used as part of an Open University literature course.

Other Work:
Mick runs creative writing workshops in association with the Windows Project which places working writers in schools, colleges, community centres and prisons.
The workshops engage all age groups and range from one day events to ten week courses, and cover all types of creative writing.
He also works as a freelance script doctor / story editor offering guidance and feedback.

Cert Ed - Creative Writing - Liverpool University.
Masters Degree - Screenwriting - Liverpool JM University.
